steve: I have studied martial and healing arts for over 20 years. Initially practicing and teaching a Southern Mantis Kung Fu system. Gradually transitioning to Internal Kung Fu, primarily Taiji and Qi Gong, and then Xing Yi Quan and Bagua Zhang. I have made several extended trips to Thailand and China. Studying the Universal Healing Tao system under Mantak Chia, becoming a certified instructor. I have lived in the Tian Shi Temple on Qingshen Gong, Chengdu, with several Daoist Masters. Most notably Master Li Hechun of the Longmen Ch'uan Chen Tao (Dragon Gate school of Complete Perfection) from Qingyang Gong Temple (Green Goat) studying Taiji, Qigong, Inner Alchemy and Taoist philosophy and caligraphy. Also serving a classical style apprenticeship with Dr. Zude Ye, a monk, healer and contemporary barefoot doctor, learning Taoist Acupuncture, qi gong and bodywork. I now maintain a 400 year old lineage of healers. It is from these sources that the basis of my teaching comes from. In addition I am a certified instructor in Shen Dao Kung Fu (UKTQF).
